ELVIS HAIR :The King's Hair Fetches $15K at Auction

Right before Elvis got those hup, two, three, four occupation G.I. Blues, he sat down for the haircut heard 'round the world.

And a lock of the hair believed to have been chopped during that session has sold for $15,000 -- or more than $18,000 if you include auction-house fees.

In all, Elvis items ranging from the lock of hair to the King's clothes fetched more than $300,000 --
